This series is part of an exploration on memory, deconstruction and perception.
Intertwined is inspired by the movement of memories. It is a graphic representation of relationships between family members and close friends. It serves as a visual imprint of the traits and gestures that we embody from others in ourselves when lives intertwine. Relationships are intense, ever-changing and confusing. Our interpretation of them relates with our episodic memory and the story we chose to tell ourselves, as the pictures we chose to include in our family album.
It bends time and space images that were taken at a particular time and place, are deconstructed. It's pieces are blended together creating a physical representation of how I perceive certain relationships. How a new narrative is being created through past images being entangled with others’ images.
